Experience
Jennifer has lived most of her life in the Cherry City. Recently graduating from the Willamette University College of Law in May of 2016, Jennifer developed her passion for estate planning in her final year of law school.

“Estate and legacy planning is an area of law I would have never imagined myself after graduation. However, it’s the best place to be. Estate planning is the only area of law where you can ensure the wants and needs that are so dear to a client are carried out just the way they want them to be during the administration of the estate. This area allows for creativity and continuing legal education as well because laws continuously change and so do client’s needs. The Law Office of Eden Rose Brown has already treated me as if I were family, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

In law school Jennifer participated in many activities. She was Vice-President and President of Willamette’s Women’s Law Caucus. She volunteered and worked closely with Oregon Women Lawyers and Mary Leonard Law Society. As a recipient of the Vernelia R. Randall Grant and the Armonica Law Student grant, which are given to students demonstrating a commitment to goals of making a difference in the legal community by advancing women and minorities in the profession. Additionally, Jennifer is an active member of the Willamette Valley Inns of Court.

During law school, Jennifer was able to incorporate her love of traveling in law school by spending two summers abroad studying international law and legal issues. In the summer of 2014, Jennifer traveled to Shanghai, China with the Willamette China Law program where she studied Law and Politics. Then to Madrid, Spain in the summer of 2015 with the William and Mary College of Law where she studied International Human Rights and Internet Law.

Jennifer currently lives in Salem and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and her energetic, nine year-old son.
